A background scene for a current project. Later, I will fill this area with about 60 odd characters and photoshop the scenery lighting. I thought I should show you its original state before the changes are made to suit its purpose. I often dodge doing paintings because objects always become warped or crooked, so just tilt your head to the left or right to make it look correct.

Time: approx 12 hours. (which is another good reason I dont paint much)

I think it came out really well. I love the colours and I'm especially in love with the chairs and the little dish cupboard. Awesome job! I can't wait to see all the people added.

Ah, cool! This looks like the perfect background for the setting you are creating! Should really be something to see with 60 characters in it! Something to consider, though. I notice you painted shadows on the chairs in front of them. This is good for a stand-alone picture, but you might find them a little annoying when you go to add the characters. Just remember to draw their characters shadows and you should be fine. The perspective is a bit off, but not so bad. You get the point across. Who or what are the 60 odd characters going to be? Who's going to be on stage? Or are you just going to make an impatient beagle wait and chase his own tail in the meantime. :)

yes, the whole thing will look different when I photoshop it, so thats why I posted the original here.. think of this as a look at the theatre in the daytime before the night-time show. lol

The 60 characters will come from the "Tigville" series of artwork. The characters onstage will be me, Harp, and Amber from "FirWilderness" in our newest appearances. All of them will be drawn on separate papers and then photoshopped into this setting and the theatre will be dark. That should get rid of the shadow issue lol
